Born in France in 1974, from an Algerian father and a European mother, Keya was attracted in his childhood by old objects, weathered materials that are rusty and worn by time. He began to paint and joined a collective with different young artists. Keya accompanied Sir Merard in the restoration project of Saint Quentin Falavier castle. Search cements stones, fossils, pottery ... his graphic world is built.

In 1992, during his military service , he volunteered in ex-Yugoslavia as a deminor. A dark but a decisive experience that marks a turning point in his work, the desire of colors.

Keya sees himself as a child of the world. His mixed origins give him a vision of a world without borders.
